Liverpool star Sadio Mane says Manchester City deserved their title win.

Liverpool remarkably attained 97 points in an extraordinary Premier League campaign.
Unfortunately for them, Manchester City managed to accrue 98 points and pip them to the title.
Sometimes all you can do is hold your hands up and say ‘they were better’, without detracting from your own achievements, and that’s what Liverpool star Sadio Mane has chosen to do.
Mane was asked about the title race in an interview on Liverpool’s official website.
He praised City’s achievement, which was one part of a domestic treble.
Mane said: “The league is behind us, Manchester City did so well and for sure they deserved it. We tested them, but we have to say congratulations and now we look forward to the [Champions League] final.
“It’s a big target for the season and hopefully we can do it.”

Mane ended the season as joint Premier League golden boot winner.
His performances have attracted transfer interest, with The Express reporting Liverpool told Real Madrid it would cost £175 million to lure him away, to deter the Spanish giants.
Liverpool signed Mane for a fraction of the price, and their move will look like an even bigger bargain if he scores in the Champions League final for the second year in a row.
