Mane scored twice in Liverpool’s 6-1 win over Watford, and has scored five goals in as many Premier League games at Anfield this season.
Sadio Mane’s hot scoring streak at Anfield continued on Sunday as he scored twice in Liverpool’s 6-1 win over Watford, leading him to tell the official Liverpool website that the Reds’ home is his lucky ground.
Mane scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season as the Reds went top of the league – and has scored five in as many league games on the Reds’ own patch – with the only time he didn’t score coming in the 0-0 draw against Manchester United last month.

The Senegalese international also scored at Anfield while playing for Southampton in a 1-1 draw between the two sides last season.
Mane told the club’s website: “I think Anfield is really lucky because I’m scoring every time!
“But I’m just happy. The most important thing is the three points and we got it today so everybody is really happy.”
Since Mane’s arrival from Southampton in the summer, his importance to the side has continued to grow as he has formed part of the devastating front three – along with Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho – that is currently terrorising opposition defences.

He’s having his part to play both at home and away games, though Mane will probably like to add to his solitary goal on the road this season, which was his wonderful solo effort in the 4-3 win over Arsenal on the opening day of the season.
Plenty of eyebrows were raised when Liverpool were prepared to pay close to their transfer record for Mane in the summer but there can be no complaints on the return he has provided so far.
He is a vital cog in this Liverpool machine at the moment and by continuing to find the net he is becoming more and more of a favourite at the club.
