Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Portugal international.

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp seems to be intent on delivering some silverware next season, and is in the market for a wide attacking player, having already bolstered his central midfield options with the captures of Fabinho and Naby Keita.
According to the Telegraph, the Reds are interested in signing Gelson Martins, who is available on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Sporting Lisbon.
The Portugal international ace is an exceptional talent, and his arrival at Anfield could give Liverpool the fastest attacking line-up in European football.

The Reds already have the blisteringly quick Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah on either wing, and the addition of Martins would make Klopp’s side an even scarier prospect for their opponents.
The 23-year-old plays with a certain kind of directness and intensity that makes him ideally suited to Klopp’s setup at Anfield, and he could prove to be the addition that makes all the difference for Liverpool next season.

He has the potential to go on and become one of the best wingers in the game, and joining the German’s revolution on Merseyside would surely help him reach even higher levels.
The Reds are undoubtedly on the cusp of achieving something very special under Klopp, and if they manage to bring the 18-capped Portugal international to Anfield this summer, they would be in a fantastic position to end their 28-year wait for a league title.
