Liverpool’s reported bid for Silas Wamangituka bad news for Celtic

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Neil Lennon’s Celtic are reportedly interested in Silas Wamangituka.

According to a report in Foot Marseille, Liverpool have made a bid for Silas Wamangituka, and that is bad news for Celtic in their reportedly pursuit of the Paris FC forward.

The report in Foot Marseille has claimed that Liverpool and Benfica have made bids for the 19-year-old.

It shows just how serious Jurgen Klopp’s side about the youngster, and that is bad news for Celtic.

The Scottish Sun has claimed of the Hoops’ interest in the Paris FC forward, who is reported to be rated at £4.5 million.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon reportedly watched the forward in person this past season.

The Glasgow giants are a massive club, but they simply cannot compete with Liverpool financially.

Moreover, the chance to play for the Reds in the Premier League and challenge for the Champions League could be too tempting for Wamangituka.

According to WhoScored, Wamangituka made 24 starts and eight substitute appearances in Ligue 2 for Paris FC this past campaign, scoring 11 goals in the process.
