Jurgen Klopp heads in to what may be described as Liverpool’s most important game of the season so far against Tottenham with a squad ravaged by injuries.

Despite what Jose Mourinho thinks, Liverpool do have a depleted squad, and with that in mind, Klopp has an incredibly tough task when it comes to picking his starting XI against his title rivals.

Joel Matip and Naby Keita remain doubts for this clash, while long-term absentees Thiago Alcantara, Diogo Jota, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are also out of action.

We certainly don’t envy Klopp’s task of picking a team for this one, but we’ve had a go at predicting the Reds’ starting XI against Tottenham.

All in all, it’s a very similar side to the one we saw line-up against Fulham.

Four of the back five remains the same with Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson and Fabinho retaining their places.

Nat Phillips comes in for Joel Matip, but don’t be too surprised to see Matip start after Jose Mourinho said he expects him to be playing.

Other than that, the team remains exactly the same as the Reds are struggling for options.

Teenager Curtis Jones is handed a huge task as he’s asked to start this mammoth fixture, as we believe it’d be a bit unfair to throw Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in at the deep end after such a long injury layoff.

Jones is in good hands though as Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum start alongside him.

There are no prizes for guessing the front three for this one as the reliable trio of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah start.
