After an incredibly tough game against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening, Liverpool face a somewhat simpler task on Saturday afternoon as they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

However, as we all know, the Eagles shouldn’t be underestimated, they’ve proven time and time again under Roy Hodgson that they’re able to take points off of the best teams in the league, and if Liverpool aren’t careful, they could join the list of teams that have fallen to the London outfit in recent times.

That being said, this is still a game that Liverpool should be confident of winning, but if they are to do that, Jurgen Klopp needs to pick the right team for the task.

We’ve had a go at predicting how Liverpool will line-up on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool's predicted XI vs Crystal Palace

We think the Reds will make just one change from their win against Tottenham.

Remarkably, a number of players in this side will be playing their third game in seven days, but with Liverpool’s ongoing injury crisis, there really isn’t much other option.

The backline is about as strong as it can be right now with Joel Matip returning to the side, replacing Rhys Williams after the Cameroon international was pictured back in training.

The rest of the side lines up exactly how it did against Tottenham, and it certainly has the quality to beat Crystal Palace.

Interestingly, Curtis Jones starts again after receiving high praise for his showing against Tottenham, further cementing the 19-year-old as a key player for the Anfield outfit these days.
