Henderson missed out on playing for Liverpool yesterday due to illness.
The midfielder could only watch on television, as the Reds just about claimed the three points at Anfield.
And Klopp admits that he is yet to speak to Henderson about his health, although he is hoping for good news in time for the weekend.
“Jordan was in bed. I hope he is better but I didn’t speak to him after the game,” he said.
Liverpool managed to squeeze past Genk even without Henderson, as they picked up an important victory, which puts them in a commanding position to progress from their group.
The Reds scored their goals against the Belgian side through Georginio Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, despite not being at their best throughout the contest.

Liverpool’s focus will now turn to a huge game against Manchester City on Sunday.
If Henderson is back to full health it seems likely that the England international will start, and his aggression in midfield could be key, as Liverpool look to hurt Pep Guardiola’s side.
