Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic is one of several threats to Liverpool at the weekend.

Liverpool are preparing for a Premier League clash away to Chelsea on Saturday evening and would love to exact some revenge after losing to the same opponent in the League Cup on Wednesday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side saw their unbeaten start to the season come to an end in the cup tie, but they still have a 100 per cent record to maintain in the league.
The Reds travel to Stamford Bridge and a lot of focus will be on stopping attacking sensation Eden Hazard, who scored the winner to knock them out of the cup and is in dazzling form.
But another player that could hurt the Merseyside club is midfielder Mateo Kovacic, who impressed in the cup fixture at Anfield.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has claimed that the Croatia international can be seen “running like a Formula One car”, as cited by the Liverpool Echo.

Kovacic has started brightly in his Chelsea career since joining them in the summer on loan from Real Madrid and is a dynamic central midfielder that loves to drive forward in possession.
The 24-year-old is not afraid to get his head up and dribble into space at defences, something that Liverpool saw first hand only a couple of days ago.
Klopp is likely to have midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum back in his starting XI for the Premier League tie and he may be the key to limiting Kovacic’s influence with defensive cover.
