The big Liverpool defender suffered an injury on Sunday it seems.

Jurgen Klopp has revealed to Liverpool’s official website that Virgil van Dijk needed a ‘big ice pack’ after Sunday’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The towering Liverpool centre-back suffered an injury late on against Spurs following a collision with Moussa Sissoko.
And although Klopp hopes that it’s ‘nothing serious’, the Reds manager admits that it’s too early to determine the severity of the problem.
He told Liverpool’s official website: “We have to see. I asked him and I think it was in the counter-attack situation when Sissoko hit him… I don’t know if he twisted it or it is a knock.
“He was walking to the interviews with a big ice pack. I hope it’s nothing serious but I don’t know yet.”
Van Dijk reminded everybody of his brilliance with a stunning defensive performance against Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Liverpool moved back to the top of the Premier League table with the win and, well, a serious injury for the Netherlands defender might be detrimental for their season.
Not only are Klopp’s side challenging for the title, but they have the first leg of a Champions League quarter-final with Porto next week.
Van Dijk has probably been the Anfield club’s best player this season and the mere idea of him missing the remaining months will terrify fans.
