Pep Guardiola’s side are a points clear of second-placed Liverpool at the moment, and if the Reds lose to Newcastle and City win their game against Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium next Monday evening, then the Citizens will clinch the Premier League title this season.
Milner, who is a former City and Newcastle player and can operate as midfielder, winger or full-back, is determined to win the match against Rafael Benitez’s side.
Newcastle’s season is virtually over, as the Magpies have already secured their Premier League status for the 2019-20 campaign, but Benitez’s side will be determined to put on a good show for the strong St. James’ Park faithful.
