Liverpool’s Emre Can has hailed Everton striker Cenk Tosun.

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has told DHA in Turkey that he thinks Cenk Tosun will prove to be a major success for Everton.
With the Toffees in desperate need for a striker in January having lost Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United over the summer and failed to replace him, Everton swooped to land Tosun in January.
The 26-year-old hitman starred for Besiktas, hitting 50 goals in his first three seasons with the club before racking up 14 goals in 24 games for the Turkish giants this season.

Tosun subsequently attracted major interest in the January transfer window, and it was Everton who won the race for his signature – though it’s been a quiet start for him at Goodison Park.
Tosun started his first two games as an Everton player but failed to score, and after being an unused substitute against Leicester City, he managed to play just 12 minutes as a substitute against Arsenal on Saturday.
There have remarkably been suggestions that Tosun could target an early move back to Turkey, but he will surely be given plenty of chances to shine under Sam Allarydce between now and the end of the season.

Now, Tosun has been offered some support from a surprise source, as Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has put the rivalry between the two clubs to one side in order to offer his opinion on the striker.
Can has told DHA in Turkey that he predicts great things for Tosun in England, stating that he was ‘great’ in Turkey and he will replicate that success in the Premier League with time.
“I think he will do great things in England,” said Tosun. “He was also great in Turkey and the same can apply here too,” he added.
