Liverpool and Manchester United do battle this weekend.

Manchester United host Liverpool this weekend hoping to put distance between them and their rivals.
The two teams drew 0-0 earlier this season with Romelu Lukaku missing a clear cut opportunity at Anfield.
Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren went up against the Belgian that day and he is looking forward to facing him again this weekend too.

Lovren admires Lukaku’s effectiveness, with the Manchester United forward scoring 22 goals already this season.
14 of those have come in the Premier League, and Lukaku will be wanting to increase this tally this weekend.
Lovren told The Mail: “He is a top striker. We can say what we want, he scores many goals.
“I enjoy playing against big, top strikers. The biggest challenge for me is when you have Mo Salah and Sadio Mane at the training ground – then you know what you are. Definitely Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the Premier League. He showed that many times.”

Lovren will be helped out this weekend by Virgil van Dijk, Liverpool’s new £75 million defender who has overseen a big improvement in their defence.
Lukaku scored in United’s last game against Crystal Palace, having netted a week earlier against Chelsea.
That was his first Premier League goal for United against a top six side, a criticism which accelerated after his miss against Liverpool earlier in the season.
