Liverpool’s Andy Robertson courted praise from Jose Mourinho on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho put his disappointment aside to acknowledge the ‘incredible’ Andy Robertson after his tireless display for Liverpool on Sunday.
The Liverpool left-back seriously impressed in the 3-1 win over Mourinho’s Manchester United at Anfield.
Such was Robertson’s impact, the Portuguese manager substituted Diogo Dalot at half time because the Scot was destroying him for the first 45 minutes.
Even after Dalot’s exit, the Liverpool defender maintained his all-action and energetic display, prompting Mourinho to note that he sprints 100 meters ‘every minute’.
“It is just part and parcel of my game, I will keep on going until the end,” Robertson told The Telegraph when told about Mourinho’s comments.
“I got a bit of space, particularly second half and the gaffer is always banging on to me and Trent, more so this season, that we have to be more involved and I was just tried to do that.”
Robertson’s name will never come up in a conversation about Jurgen Klopp’s best signings at Liverpool, when you consider how Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk have done at Anfield.
But he is without a doubt the best signing that Klopp has made with regards to value for money.
The German manager snapped up the former Hull star for only £8 million and for all the talk of Xherdan Shaqiri – who scored twice against the Red Devils, being a bargain at £13 million, it doesn’t compare to Robertson.
