Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has been highly impressed by Joe Gomez’s performances this season.
Gomez has started regularly for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season, with the youngster impressing in Liverpool’s defence.
And Robertson says that he finds Gomez an unbelievable player now, even though he wasn’t familiar with the former Charlton man when he first arrived.
“Look at Joe (Gomez). I didn’t know a lot about him when I joined, but he is an unbelievable player,” he said.
Robertson and Gomez have formed part of a Liverpool defence which has been very solid so far this season.
The £10 million left-back (BBC Sport), who joined from Hull City, has now established himself as one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
Gomez is also building a reputation for himself, and he has managed to force his way into the England team.
Liverpool are next in action at the weekend when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
