Chelsea are set to host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge later on this afternoon.

Liverpool’s Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain has expressed his appreciation for Chelsea winger Willian and striker Olivier Giroud ahead of their showdown on Sunday afternoon.
Oxlade-Chamberlain would have played alongside Giroud during their time at the Emirates Stadium, as he seemingly shared how much he liked Willian’s style of play, which he described as ‘naughty’.
Both Liverpool and Chelsea head into Sunday’s encounter at Stamford Bridge on the back of a couple of strong performances in the Premier League but having suffered defeat in the Champions League in midweek.
Speaking to Football Focus on BBC One (21/09/2019 at 12:10 pm), Chamberlain was asked which Chelsea players he liked ahead of their meeting.
“I really like Willian,” Oxlade-Chamberlain told Football Focus. “He’s really got the sauce, hasn’t he?! It’s that flip-flap he does which is naughty. And my boy Giroud.”
All three players – Oxlade-Chamberlain, Willian and Giroud will be expected to feature at Stamford Bridge, as Liverpool’s 100% record is on the line.

Jurgen Klopp’s side top the Premier League table after five games, and if they can secure three more points against Frank Lampard’s men then their lead will open to five points.
On Saturday, second-placed Manchester City, who had been beaten the week before, sent out a serious reminder as they well and truly thrashed Watford 8-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
Given the indifferent start to both Liverpool and Chelsea’s defences this season, a goalless draw is written all over this game, but a little opening could result in the game exploding into life.
