The Arsenal striker is reportedly wanted by Everton, but he could be ideal for Liverpool .
Jürgen Klopp will surely be looking to add another striker to his ranks this summer, with Daniel Sturridge’s continual struggle with his fitness, and the 26-year-old Arsenal forward could be just the ticket.
He possesses blistering pace, which would help him fit into Liverpool’s high octane playing style under the German, and if given a regular run of games, he could realise his true potential with the Reds.

Welbeck is also a relentless worker, and his high energy levels enable him to press and close down the opposition’s defence and goalkeeper for the entirety of the 90 minutes…if he can maintain his fitness of course.
The former Manchester United star can also play on either flank, and would offer stiff competition for the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho in wide areas.
The England international has attributes that make him ideally suited to counter attacking football, which would be perfect for Liverpool, and Klopp should not hesitate to usurp Everton for his signature this summer.
One potential problem though, could be whether the Gunners are willing to sell to Liverpool, with relations between the clubs being rather strained, following the Luis Suarez saga in 2013.
If Klopp does manage to find a way of bringing Welbeck to Anfield, however, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Reds.
