The Liverpool winger has been linked with an exit from Anfield this summer.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Liverpool could be willing to sell Harry Wilson for £21 million this summer, and if they do sanction the winger’s exit for that fee, it could turn out to be a big mistake from Jurgen Klopp.

The 22-year-old spent last season away from Anfield on loan with Derby County, and he really impressed for the Rams, racking up 18 goals and six assists in 49 appearances in all competitions.

Wilson is a real talent, and he would surely be able to thrive in Liverpool’s first team next season.

The Reds need more competition for their current front three, and the Wales international seems to be tailor made for that role.

In today’s day and age, £21 million really is just a drop in the ocean, and Liverpool should surely be demanding at least double that amount for Wilson’s services.

The 22-year-old proved during his time with Derby just how effective he can be, and the Reds must not rush into selling the classy Welshman.

He is at an age now where he could blow up and become a Premier League star, and if Liverpool do sell him for the reported fee of just £21 million, they might just live to regret it.
