Liverpool are reportedly interested in Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio.

It has been reported by the Spanish publication that Liverpool are among the clubs who are looking at Asensio, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
Tottenham Hotspur are also claimed to be interested in securing the services of the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window.
AS, though, has claimed that Madrid General Director Jose Angel Sanchez has made it clear that any club who want to sign the Spain international must pay his release clause of €700m (£618.06m).

Eye-watering amount
Neymar is the worst’s most expensive footballer in the world and cost £200m when he joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona in the summer of 2017, as reported by BBC Sport.
A transfer fee of €700m (£618.06m) will make Asensio the most expensive footballer on the planet, and it is hard to see Liverpool – or any other club for that matter – pay that much money to sign the Spaniard.
