Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are in talks over signing Gabri Veiga, and are so Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United, according to a report in the Spanish media.
Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City in talks over Gabri Veiga
AS have reported that Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United all are having discussions over signing Veiga in the summer transfer window.
Bayern Munich are also in talks, while Real Madrid have established contact with the 20-year-old midfielder’s camp.
Barcelona have also been linked.
Celta are willing to sell the 20-year-old central midfielder, but the Spanish club want his release clause of €40 million (£35 million) to be paid in full, according to AS.

HITC Verdict: Potential transfer saga
In our view, Liverpool and Manchester United may not find it easy to sign Gabri Veiga in the summer transfer window.
Okay, a transfer fee of £35 million is not much, but Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City will all feel the same.
It could eventually come down to which club is able to convince the central midfielder more.
Veiga is 20 now, and given that he is a regular in the Celta first team, he will surely want to continue to play week in and week out at whichever club he goes to next.
The youngster has made 22 starts and eight substitute appearances in La Liga this season.
Veiga has scored nine goals and given four assists in those games.
