A round-up of the latest transfer news surrounding Liverpool.

Liverpool brought in winger Mohamed Salah in a club-record deal from Roma earlier this summer, and that may just free up another wide man to leave in Sheyi Ojo.

Ojo, 20, joined Liverpool from Milton Keynes Dons back in 2011, but he has yet to establish himself in the Reds first team, making just two first-team appearances last season.

After previous loan spells with Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ojo could be loaned out again this summer in order to gain first-team football.

Sky Sports report that Middlesbrough are leading the race for Ojo’s signature on a season-long loan deal, with manager Garry Monk keen to make additions ahead of an expected push for promotion.

It’s added that Newcastle United have been left frustrated in their pursuit of Ojo, as they can’t agree to a deal with the Reds – and now face losing out on him to local rivals Middlesbrough.

Elsewhere, a report from French outlet Foot Mercato earlier today suggested that Liverpool are pursuing a deal for Atletico Madrid striker Angel Correa.

Correa, 22, joined Atleti from San Lorenzo in 2014, but started just 10 La Liga games last season, notching four goals and eight assists for the Spanish giants as he failed to nail down a regular starting role.

The Argentina international has allegedly been offered a five-year deal to join Liverpool, but adding another striker may suggest that Daniel Sturridge or Divock Origi could be leaving Anfield.
