A round-up of the latest transfer news surrounding Liverpool.
Liverpool fans have seen Everton splash the cash on new signings this summer, and whilst the Reds have signed Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke, fans are keen to see more new signings.
Pursuits of Virgil van Dijk and Naby Keita have so far proved fruitless, and supporters may also want to see a natural left back come in to replace Alberto Moreno.

With more signings needed, former Liverpool midfielder and current pundit Danny Murphy has spoken to Sky Sports about the club’s transfer situation, urging patience from fans.
Murphy suggested that he has heard that Liverpool are ‘desperately’ attempting to sign new players, and are prepared to splash the cash on key additions.
Murphy added that he wouldn’t worry if he was a Liverpool fan, and really hopes to see Liverpool sign Southampton defender Van Dijk in a blockbuster deal.
“My understanding is that they are trying desperately hard to improve the squad and they are willing to put quite a few pounds behind that,” said Murphy. “I hope they get Van Dijk. I hope that happens because I think defensively is where they need to get better. They need a left-back of course.”
“But you know, he is not a stupid man Klopp. He has seen now everything that he has got and what he needs. You can’t rush these things. You know as well as I know there are domino effects with transfers. It will start. Unfortunately because of the way the window is set up, which is nonsensical as far as I am concerned, you know things now will happen mid to late August. So there is plenty of time. I wouldn’t be worrying if I was a Liverpool fan,” he added.
Netherlands defender Stefan de Vrij (L)
Elsewhere, Italian newspaper Il Messaggero report that Lazio want Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, having already spoken to the Reds about selling centre back duo Stefan de Vrij and Wallace to the Reds.
De Vrij, 25, has recovered from a serious injury to re-establish himself as one of the top centre backs in Italy, whilst defensive partner Wallace has starred since a 2016 move from Sporting Braga.
Either player could give Liverpool a real boost defensively, and giving up Lucas in a part-exchange deal could give Jurgen Klopp the chance to sign one of the two Lazio centre backs this summer.
