The Guardian report that Liverpool are considering offering £50million for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, but the Bundesliga outfit want a whopping £70million fee in order to sell him.
Guinea international Keita, 22, notched eight goals and seven assists last season as Leipzig qualified for the Champions League, with Keita – who has been coined as a mix of Deco and N’Golo Kante – playing a key role.
Liverpool now want to add him to their midfield, but with a huge £70million asking price, it remains to be seen whether the Reds do attempt to lure him to Merseyside this summer having already broken their transfer record last week.
Elsewhere, the Daily Mail report that Stoke City are interested in snapping up Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho as they look for a new defender following Bruno Martins Indi’s return to Porto.

The French centre back, 27, was completely frozen out by Klopp last season, failing to give him a single game before loaning him out to Crystal Palace during the January transfer window.
Sakho appears to have no future at Anfield, and Stoke are now believed to be joining the race for his signature, with Palace – now with Frank de Boer at the helm – yet to make a move to sign him permanently.
