According to TEAMtalk, West Ham United have accepted that Declan Rice will leave, amid interest from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Graham Potter’s Chelsea.

The report has claimed that West Ham believe that they will have to sell Rice at the end of the season.

Liverpool and Chelsea are reported to be interested in the 23-year-old, who can play as a defender but has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League.

According to a report in GiveMeSport in December 2022, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all are interested in Rice, described as “devastating” by former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel.

Should Liverpool bid for West Ham star Declan Rice?

In our opinion, Liverpool should make a bid for West Ham United and England international defensive midfielder in the summer of 2023.

Rice is one of the best and most dynamic players around, and we believe that the 23-year-old would make Liverpool better in the middle of the park.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp does need to freshen up his midfield, and bringing in a young and promising player such as Rice would help.

If West Ham are resigned to losing the youngster, then Liverpool could be able to get him for good transfer fee.

You would still expect Liverpool to pay at least £50 million for Rice, but not anywhere near £100 million.
