Don Hutchison has tipped Brighton left-back Pervis Estupinan to secure a transfer to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool after Roberto De Zerbi’s side beat Arsenal 3-0 in the Premier League on Sunday.
The former midfielder thinks Pervis Estupinan is ‘that good’ that he could, not only join Liverpool, but also play for the soon-to-be champions of England, Manchester City, as he told Premier League Productions (14/05/23 at 9:25 pm).
Brighton have helped Pep Guardiola’s men on their way to the title because they outclassed Arsenal at the Emirates, including Estupinan supplying an assist and getting on the scoresheet.

Those three points have also aided the South Coast side’s chances of getting into Europe, including possibly finishing above Liverpool in the Premier League table.
The Merseyside club travel to the East Midlands to take on relegation-threatened Leicester City on Monday night, with the Reds four points behind fourth-placed Manchester United and the same number of points ahead of sixth-placed Brighton, who have played a game less.
Nonetheless, after Estupinan caused Arsenal all sorts of issues yesterday, the club’s recruitment was praised by Hutchison, who backed him for a big move.
“Pervis Estupinan, I think he can play for Manchester City or Liverpool,” said Hutchison. “I think he is that good. So, be prepared for some bids to come in.
“But they proved when they signed Estupinan for £17 million. They sold Marc Cucurella for £65 million. They have some network there.”

ESTUPINAN IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF BRIGHTON’S TOP-CLASS TRANSFER RECRUITMENT
Marc Cucurella was Brighton’s Player of the Year for the previous campaign, but within 12 months, they had to sell him to crazy-spending Chelsea.
For many teams, it would have been a big blow to lose a player of that quality from your team, but not for Brighton, who seemingly have an answer to any holes they have to fill within their squad.
Estupinan is a prime example of that after he arrived for £15 million from Villarreal (Daily Mail) last summer, whilst Cucurella struggles to get into the squad for a Chelsea side that might not even finish in the Premier League’s top ten this season.
