Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho
Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has been told he needs to leave the club on loan to save his career at the club, according to the Liverpool Echo and other outlets.
Sakho has been linked with loan moves to both Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion, with the Daily Mail reporting the latter were willing to pay £20 million for a permanent deal, and a number of other Premier League clubs are monitoring his situation.
They also suggest that there is ‘no chance’ Sakho will play for the club this year with Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren, Ragnar Klavan, as well as Joe Gomez and Lucas Leiva ahead of him in the pecking order.

Manager Jurgen Klopp believes that Sakho can still have a future at Anfield if he goes out on loan and find his form and fitness once again, as well as his professionalism.

A report from ESPN suggested that as many as eight clubs in England had enquired about the forward’s availability, with one prepared to pay in excess of £20 million.
