Ruben Neves has dropped a major hint that he will leave Wolves at the end of this season, with Liverpool reportedly interested in signing the Portuguese international.
Speaking to Eleven Portugal via Record, the Premier League midfielder revealed that he is keen to play in the UEFA Champions League and challenge for league titles, something Neves could achieve should the former FC Porto star leave Wolves for Liverpool in the summer.
The Mirror recently reported that the Reds are interested in signing the 26-year-old as Jurgen Klopp looks to revamp his midfield options ahead of the new season, and whilst a top-four finish currently looks unlikely, it’s hardly out of the equation for the Anfield giants.
And with Neves now stating that he wants a move to a Champions League club as well as a team that challenged regularly for titles and silverware, Liverpool could find themselves as a leading club to sign the Wolves superstar, who could be perfect for Klopp and his squad.

Indeed, Neves has the quality and the Premier League experience to add a lot of value to Liverpool’s midfield, and the Wolves star’s latest comments will be of great interest to the Reds, who could now think about making a move for the Portuguese international.
Neves said: “I’m extremely happy at Wolves, but obviously, in terms of my career, I’d like to play in the Champions League again. It’s one of my goals to try to win as many titles as possible before I finish my career. That’s a goal of any player, to be able to play in the biggest competitions in the world, to be able to play at the highest level.”
Neves could leave Wolves for Liverpool depending on top-four finish

Central midfield is an area of the squad Liverpool have to improve in the summer, and Neves’ latest comments could be a major hint that the Reds might have a chance of signing the Wolves star if they can qualify for top-four and reach the Champions League.
Whilst Neves might not be a first-choice signing for some Liverpool supporters, the midfielder’s record in England with Wolves speaks for itself, and the Portuguese star could be an exceptional addition for Klopp ahead of a huge season for the Reds.
