Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly leading the race for Celta de Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga.
According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool are determined to sign Gabri Veiga from Celta de Vigo in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal all are reportedly keen on Veiga.
The report has claimed that Liverpool are leading the race for the Spanish midfielder and are ready to pay his release clause of €40 million (£35 million).
TEAMtalk have reported that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp “sees Veiga as a potential star in the making who he feels he could develop under his tutelage”.
Gabri Veiga a long-term signing for Liverpool
In our view, Liverpool should not expect Gabri Veiga to make an instant impact at the club.

If the Merseyside club do get to sign the 20-year-old midfielder in the summer transfer window, then they have to make sure that he is allowed space to grow and develop.
It would not help anyone if Liverpool rush Veiga.
One thing is for sure.
The youngster is rated very highly.
Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti described the 20-year-old as “a good player” and “has quality” in April 2023.
Veiga has made 24 starts and eight substitute appearances in La Liga for Celta this season.
The 20-year-old Spaniard has scored nine goals and given four assists in those games.
There is no surprise that Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs so keen on Veiga.
