Pundit Don Hutchison has expressed his surprise at Liverpool reportedly pulling out of the transfer race to sign Jude Bellingham in the summer.
It was reported on Tuesday that Jurgen Klopp himself is on board with the decision, considering the number of positions the club must cover.
However, pundit Don Hutchison has said that he is surprised that Liverpool may have decided to pull the plug on a transfer for Jude Bellingham.
Pundit Don Hutchison reacts to Liverpool potentially exiting Bellingham transfer race
The Reds have been linked with a move for the England international for ages, as he seems to be viewed as the answer to all of their problems in midfield.
The 19-year-old is one of the most talented midfielders in Europe and even at such a young age, he has managed to look like a class apart in the Champions League as well as the World Cup.

Pundit Don Hutchison, however has said that it is a surprise that Liverpool may have seemingly decided not to pursue a transfer for Jude Bellingham anymore.
“I find it very surprising that Liverpool have ‘walked away’ from the JB deal. It’s not like Dortmund set the price y,day. Liverpool have know the price for months. (It might not be dead yet). If so, Bellingham or Caicedo + Mount and Ndicka is a better deal IMO [in my opinion].”
HITC View: A blessing in disguise for Liverpool
It is common knowledge that if the Merseyside-based club were to have signed the Englishman, they would have to make him the Premier League’s most expensive player.
With Liverpool having a mountain of problems in terms of personnel, perhaps pundit Don Hutchison should not that splashing a chunk of their transfer budget on just Jude Bellingham may not be wise.
Instead, bolstering the squad with a number of new signings to rebuild the side may actually be the smart move for the Reds.
