Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a move for Nicolo Barella, but so are Chelsea and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.
Liverpool could bid for Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella
InterLive have reported that Liverpool, Newcastle and Chelsea all are interested in signing Barella from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that all three Premier League clubs are ready to make bids for the 26-year-old Italy international midfielder.
Inter are willing to sell Barella, but the former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners want as much as €80 million (£70 million) in transfer fees for him.

Exciting
In our view, Liverpool would be a better and more exciting team with Nicolo Barella in it.
The Italian – who is “aggressive”, “technical” and “can run for ages”, according to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp – is one of the best midfielders around, and we believe that he would make the Reds better and stronger in the middle of the park.
Barella can play in a box-to-box role, can dribble past players, is combative and dynamic, and can impose himself in the middle of the park.
The 26-year-old has made 29 starts and three substitute appearances in Serie A this season.
Barella has scored five goals and given six assists in those games.
The Italian star has also scored three goals in 10 appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Inter this campaign.
