Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to bring Khephren Thuram to Anfield in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Jurgen Klopp wants Khephren Thuram at Liverpool
The Independent have reported that Liverpool want to sign Thuram from Nice as a potential alternative to Borussia Dortmund and England international midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The report has claimed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp sees the 22-year-old France international midfielder “as the perfect answer” to his problems in midfield.
“The priority will be energy and running combined with an ability to carry out the German’s tactical demands,” states the report.
“Assessments of Thuram are that he fits that after considerable development in the French league.”

HITC Verdict: Summer transfer could happen
In our view, Liverpool could be able to sign Khephren Thuram from Nice in the summer transfer window.
Leaving Nice for Liverpool would be a step up for the youngster, and we believe that the midfielder would jump at the chance to play for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners.
Now, of course, the French club will ask for a decent transfer fee, but it is unlikely to be too much for Liverpool.
Thuram has made 26 starts and five substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Nice this season.
The 22-year-old midfielder has scored two goals and given four assists in those games.
Thuram can operate as a left-sided midfielder, as a defensive midfielder or in a more advanced role.
