Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has not given up hope of signing Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, according to a journalist.
Bild reporter Christian Falk has said on Twitter that Klopp is still hoping that Liverpool will be able to get a deal done for Dortmund and England international midfielder Bellingham at the end of the season.
Falk has said that despite Klopp publicly playing down Liverpool’s chances of signing the 19-year-old midfielder, the German boss still wants him at Anfield for next season and beyond.
Earlier this month, Sky Sports reported that Liverpool have pulled out of the race for Bellingham and are targeting Declan Rice of West Ham United and Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo instead.

HITC Verdict: Summer transfer could happen
In our view, Liverpool fans should stay optimistic about a deal for Jude Bellingham in the summer transfer window.
Yes, the teenager will cost a lot of money and FSG do not tend to spend big, but things could change in the summer of 2023.
After all, if Liverpool are to stay competitive and continue to challenge for the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League, then they simply have to invest in the squad and sign big-name players.
Like Bellingham.
