Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have identified Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo as a potential alternative to Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund, according to The Daily Mail.
Liverpool eye Moises Caicedo as alternative to Jude Bellingham
Liverpool reportedly want to sign Bellingham from Dortmund in the summer of 2023.
However, Manchester City and Real Madrid are also interested in the England international midfielder.
So, Liverpool have identified Caicedo as a potential alternative.
The report has claimed that Liverpool showed interest in the Ecuador international midfielder in the January transfer window and could go back for the 21-year-old if they fail to bring Bellingham to Anfield.
Arsenal had more than one bid for Caicedo turned down in the January transfer window, with the player himself saying on social media that he wanted to leave Brighton.

Could a summer transfer happen?
In our view, Liverpool could be able to sign Moises Caicedo from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer of 2023.
Yes, the Seagulls did not sell the 21-year-old in the middle of the season, but they could be willing to cash in on him at the end of the campaign.
With big clubs such as Liverpool interested in him, Brighton could feel that now is the time to sell the 21-year-old for big money, maybe for £80 million.
