Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho has described Jude Bellingham as ‘calm and collective’ on Instagram after the Liverpool transfer target bagged another goal for Borussia Dortmund.

Until the fat lady sings, both Liverpool and Manchester United will feel they can sign the 19-year-old midfielder, or their fans will, anyway.

Although the latest transfer rumours claim that Jude Bellingham won’t be coming to the Premier League, anytime soon – it has been suggested that he wanted to move to Anfield, but now, he is on his way to Real Madrid after agreeing to personal terms.

If that’s the case, then not many can argue because he is joining a team that are the current champions of Europe, and if they see off Manchester City in the return leg of this season’s Champions League semi-final tie, then there is every chance they make it back-to-back titles.

Added to that, it could also be argued that Real Madrid are the biggest club side in world football.

Nonetheless, after Dortmund secured a 5-2 win over Borussia Monchengladbach to keep their Bundesliga title hopes alive, Bellingham scored from the penalty spot.

In the comments section of Bellingham’s Instagram post, he was praised by teammates, including Sancho posting: ‘Calm and collective’.

LIVERPOOL TO MISS OUT?

As the days tick by, it seems as though Liverpool won’t be putting the money down for Bellingham, even though he is a player that Jurgen Klopp very much needs – Simon Jordan has expressed his surprise at the club’s stance on the £105 million star.

Bellingham has played in English football, but that’s in the Championship with his boyhood club, Birmingham City.

Given that he is still a teenager, fans might have to wait a few more years before he is donning the colours of a team in the Premier League.
