Liverpool target Piotr Zielinski has been tipped by Fabrizio Romano to leave Napoli this summer, with the midfielder one of the Serie A side’s key players this season.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, the transfer guru revealed that whilst there are now talks ongoing right now for the Polish international, Romano believes that Zielinski has a good chance of leaving Napoli at the end of the season, where the midfielder will likely be a Serie A title winner.
Romano said on Zielinski’s future: “There is no interest in talks, contracts, or transfer plans. They have Serie A to win, they have the Champions League to focus on, and nothing is decided. Still, my personal feeling is that Zielinski in the summer will have a good chance to leave.”
Journalist Rudy Galetti recently reported that Zielinski is one of many midfielders Liverpool are considering a move for in the summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to rebuild the position in the transfer window, and the 28-year-old leaving Napoli could help massively in a potential transfer.

Whilst Napoli have been quoted at asking for £70m for their star midfielder, the Reds could be tempted to pay that transfer fee given just how badly Liverpool need a new shining light in the position, with Zielinski also in the prime years of his career.
Indeed, with Romano now saying that Zielinski could leave Napoli, Liverpool must ensure they are at the front of the queue to sign the Polish sensation, who could be key to the Merseyside giants returning to their former best in the years to come.
Liverpool must pounce if Zielinski chooses to leave Napoli

Napoli are on course for a historic season in Serie A, with the Neapolitan side set to win their first Scudetto this century in convincing fashion as well as potentially have a real shot at going far in the UEFA Champions League, and should Zielinski decide to leave in the summer, Liverpool must pounce.
As we know, the midfielder has been one of the best in Europe this season, and with Liverpool in need of quality additions this summer, Zielinski could be perfect for the Reds as a short-term solution to solve a major problem for Klopp’s squad.
