Randal Kolo Muani was quite the prospect over the summer with Liverpool and Tottenham chasing the attacker, yet since opting to sign for Eintracht Frankfurt, the 23-year-old has earned quite the reputation with his assists.
The former FC Nantes star has taken the Bundesliga by storm, with Kolo Muani bagging four goals and an incredible nine assists in all competitions, eight of which have come in the German top-flight. And according to Kicker via GGFN, this record now puts the youngster with some quite esteemed company.
As per their findings, Kolo Muani now has the same number of assists in the first 11 games of a Bundesliga season as the likes of Bayern Munich legend Franck Ribery, who also managed eight after joining the Bavarian giants in 2011, with Kevin De Bruyne one of four players to go beyond this record.
Things could have been a lot different, though, had Liverpool or Tottenham won the race for Kolo Muani, with the Frankfurter Rundschau reporting over the summer that the Premier League duo both held talks with the-then Nantes striker over a potential transfer.

However, as we know, the 23-year-old opted for a move to Frankfurt, a transfer that has proven to be the right decision and then some as the versatile attacked looks to make more history with Oliver Glasner’s side in the coming weeks.
Indeed, snubbing a move to the Premier League is a move few players would make in the younger stages of their career, but for Kolo Muani, the decision to sign for Frankfurt ahead of the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool has been the right choice given his assist record this campaign.
