Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur both want Randal Kolo Muani but the striker is planning to stay at Eintracht Frankfurt for another year.
What a season it has been for Kolo Muani.
Signed from Nantes on a free transfer over the summer, Kolo Muani joined Frankfurt with hope of becoming a Bundesliga star.
Kolo Muani has racked up eight goals and 11 assists in just 25 games for Frankfurt, going some way to fulfilling that aspiration.
The 24-year-old subsequently earned a call-up to the France squad for the World Cup squad, though he has only appeared once.
Foot Mercato reported last week that Liverpool and Tottenham both want to sign Kolo Muani – but Frankfurt could now demand up to €80million (£69million).
That’s a staggering fee for somebody who cost nothing earlier this year – particularly annoying for both Liverpool and Tottenham.
Liverpool were keen on signing for Muani for free according to Bild, as were Tottenham according to Foot Mercato.

Kolo Muani seemingly not planning to join Liverpool or Tottenham in 2023
The problem for Liverpool and Tottenham now is that Kolo Muani just isn’t looking to move on.
Sport1 in Germany have spoken to MDC Advisors, the agency that represent Kolo Muani.
They suggested that Kolo Muani won’t be leaving Frankfurt until at least 2024, highlighting that the Frenchman is very happy to develop in Frankfurt.
“Our plan is for Randal Kolo Muani to stay in Frankfurt for at least another year. He feels very comfortable with Eintracht. Here Randal has the perfect location for his development,” they stated.
That’s that then – no move for Kolo Muani in 2023 unless Liverpool, Tottenham or anybody else come up with huge offers.
They would be wise to keep tabs on Kolo Muani though, and Tottenham even saw him play against them in the Champions League this season.
Kolo Muani can play up front or out wide, with his attacking versatility and ability to find the final ball no doubt attractive to Liverpool and Tottenham.
