Jose Enrique has told Liverpool on Twitter to sign the ‘top class’ Jude Bellingham instead of the Real Madrid-bound, Aurélien Tchouaméni.
There are suggestions in France, from RMC Sport, that the Monaco midfielder has opted for Real Madrid instead of Liverpool.
Whilst Jurgen Klopp doesn’t need or isn’t desperate for new midfielders, it still probably needs refreshing and adding to this summer, just like they did with their forward line when they brought in Luis Diaz in January.
Tchouaméni is one of the top talents in Europe, and given what Monaco have unleashed before onto the European stage in terms of talents, the 22-year-old isn’t someone who is to be messed with.
But rather than push for the defensive-minded midfielder, ex-Liverpool defender, Enrique, wants to see Bellingham signed up instead.
COULD BELLINGHAM BE DESTINED FOR LIVERPOOL ONE DAY?
Bellingham is set for the very top of world football, with Europe’s elite clubs sure to sign him up in the coming years.
But could that come in the form of Liverpool one day? The Reds have been long admirers of the Dortmund superstar, plus, his hero is a certain Steven Gerrard.
Either way, just like Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland, the Premier League might just be his playground for the peak years of his career.
And with Liverpool flying at the top of English football, and looking to add their second European crown in as many years to their name at the weekend, they will surely be top of the tree to sign him up.
