Liverpool supporters will have been disappointed by what they saw from Mohamed Salah v Arsenal on Sunday.
It’s becoming a worrying theme of the Reds’ season, Salah’s woes in front of goal.
Prior to this season, the Egypt international has been among the Premier League and Europe’s finest attackers.
However, the Liverpool forward has only managed three goals from open play across the Premier League and Champions League since August.

He didn’t fare much better at the Emirates, struggling against Takehiro Tomiyasu and only managing 27 touches overall [WhoScored].
And Frank Leboeuf, speaking to ESPN, has called the player a ‘ghost’ on current form.
The Frenchman said: “We have to talk about Salah. Salah is only a ghost of himself right now.”
Salah v Arsenal
There’s no question that Salah is capable of turning around this slump and reminding English football why he’s been such a devastating force since joining Liverpool for £36 million in 2017 [The Guardian].
But the problem is that the team as a whole is struggling massively, which means the former Chelsea and Roma winger is unable to escape unnoticed.
Salah has struggled at times before, but the Reds overall were still playing excellent and therefore there was less pressure on the main man.
But it’s entirely different now and if Liverpool don’t improve as a unit, or Salah continues to struggle, then Jurgen Klopp’s side are in big, big trouble.
