Anton Ferdinand has claimed that Liverpool transfer target, Matthijs de Ligt, is ‘built for the Premier League’, as he told talkSPORT.
The former Premier League defender added that de Ligt is a ‘machine’ and a ‘fantastic’ player for Juventus.
It has been previously suggested that Liverpool ‘dream’ of pairing de Ligt with Virgil Van Dijk at Anfield.

The Dutch duo stand side by side for their country, but it seems as though if the Reds are to fork out money for the player, then Juventus have been advised to sell him for no less than £70 million.
Nonetheless, this is what Ferdinand had to say about de Ligt and how he is ready-made for English football.
“De Ligt is fantastic,” said Ferdinand. “He is a machine. The way he is built, he is a machine.
“He’s built for the Premier League. The way he looks and the way he plays.”

IS DE LIGT PREMIER LEAGUE BOUND?
Coming through the famous Ajax academy, de Ligt was already in a big limelight, added by the fact that he was one of their top talents.
Plus, he was making a name for himself as a fresh-faced teenager, so at the age of 22, he is still highly-regarded and he has years left before he hits the peak of his powers.
Nonetheless, whether it’s Liverpool or elsewhere, is de Ligt Premier League bound, regardless?
There has been talk of Chelsea, who are in need of centre-backs, being keen to add the player to their ranks.
