Paulo Alves, Toni Gomes and Mich’el Parker are all set to leave Liverpool.

Liverpool are to release three youngsters from the club following the exit of Yan Dhanda to Swansea City.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Paulo Alves, Toni Gomes and Mich’el Parker have all been told they have no futures at the club and are free to leave.
Alves, 20, leaves the club without having made his senior debut, despite making Jurgen Klopp’s match day squad for an FA Cup clash against Plymouth Argyle in January 2017. The midfielder joined the club’s academy in 2015 following a spell at Porto.
Gomes, another Portuguese youngster, also departs having failed to break into the senior side, making his Football League debut on loan at Forest Green Rovers in 2017.
Parker, formerly of Arsenal’s academy before moving north in 2015, had been a regular in defence for Liverpool’s Under-23 side but found opportunities hard to come by during the 2017-18 campaign, making just one Premier League 2 appearance.

Liverpool are poised to bolster their academy however with ESPN claiming the club are close to signing Chelsea midfielder on a free transfer. The Blues have not offered the 20-year-old a new deal and is now set to follow former teammate Dominic Solanke to Merseyside.
