- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
HITC understands that Adrian has informed Liverpool that he has rejected their offer of a new contract at Anfield.
Liverpool tabled an offer to try and keep hold of the 37-year-old shot-stopper, but Adrian is now set to depart the Merseyside club.
The Spaniard has been assessing his options with his current deal set to expire this summer, but sources have now confirmed to HITC that Adrian has informed Liverpool that he will not be accepting their offer to remain.
HITC understands that Adrian has been in talks with several clubs, but his heart is set on a move back to Spain with his hometown club Real Betis.
Adrian did not make a single appearance for Liverpool across the 2023-24 season but his exit leaves the club short in the goalkeeping department ahead of next season.
As revealed by HITC, Liverpool could also lose Coaimhin Kelleher to Celtic with the Scottish giants needing a bid of over £15million.

Liverpool ready to strike double deal after Adrian exit
With Kelleher looking to leave and Adrian refusing the club’s contract proposal, Arne Slot and the recruitment team have their work cut out for them to bolster their goalkeeping ranks.
HITC understands that Liverpool will be in the market for two new goalkeepers this summer if both Kelleher and Adrian depart.
The Reds can still rely on Alisson – who has a contract with Liverpool until 2027 – to start between the sticks next season.
