The Liverpool teenager is highly rated at Anfield.
Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn has been speaking to the BBC about his ambitions.
The 17-year-old winger impressed for the Reds during their pre-season matches and he has been rewarded for his efforts with a new contract that will keep him at Anfield until at least 2019.
He is yet to make his competitive debut for Jurgen Klopp’s side but his performances for Liverpool’s under-23s this season suggest that is only a matter of time.

Woodburn has scored four goals and provided five assists in just nine appearances for the second string and his standout performance to date was in a 6-2 victory against Tottenham Hotspur’s under-23s, when he scored one and set up three more.
Woodburn will also have aspirations to play for his country in the years ahead and he has spoken of his admiration for two fellow Welshmen.
“Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey are world-class and I want to replicate what they do,” the Liverpool teenager told BBC Wales Sport.

Bale made his name at Southampton before moving on to Tottenham Hotspur and then excelling at Real Madrid, while Ramsey has recently returned to action for Arsenal following an injury layoff.
Woodburn certainly has admirable role models and if he can follow in the footsteps of Bale in particular then Liverpool could have yet another superstar on their hands.
