Liverpool are short of a lethal striker. The Reds have a fearsome attack but Jürgen Klopp is lacking in a plan B in the middle. Plenty of strikers were linked over the summer. Reported Liverpool target Dusan Vlahovic could be available cheap next summer amid a contract standoff.

Who is Dusan Vlahovic?
21-year-old Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic plays up top for Fiorentina.
The imposing striker is gifted in the air and his physical presence is a massive asset.
This season La Viola’s star man has netted three goals in three Serie A games.
Last term he banged in 21 in 34 starts and three sub appearances, impressive given that he only turned 21-years-old in January.
Liverpool want Dusan Vlahovic
Over the summer rumours persisted about the Reds moving for a striker.
Jürgen Klopp currently has three wingers and a false nine but not a proper out and out nine.
Tuttosport was one of a number of outlets to report on Liverpool interest in Dusan Vlahovic.
The Telegraph claimed that Fiorentina wanted at least £40m for their young striker.
Bargain buy possible
Fiorentina could be forced into a sale next summer.
Calciomercato (via Goal) has claimed that the club’s chairman is unsure about whether or not the club will be able to negotiate an extension to the striker’s contract.
Liverpool target Dusan Vlahovic is currently on a deal running until 2023.
If he refuses to extend then La Viola might have to sell him cheap in the summer, otherwise they risk losing the forward on a free transfer a year later.
