Gary Lineker has raved about reported Liverpool summer target Jude Bellingham on Twitter.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker was blown away by Bellingham’s performance for England in their 4-0 win against Andorra in the 2022 World Cup qualifier yesterday.
The Borussia Dortmund star was very classy in the middle of the park, held his own in midfield, and drove the team forward.
The midfielder was linked with moves to Chelsea and Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Eurosport reported in April that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool wanted to sign Bellingham.
Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea also had the 18-year-old on their radar.
Bellingham has been superb for Dortmund since he moved from Birmingham City in 2020.
Playing regularly in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League last season saw the midfielder earn a place in the England squad that reached the Euro 2020 final this summer.
Dortmund do sell their best players, and perhaps next summer Liverpool could be successful in their quest to sign the youngster.

Bellingham is a dynamic box-to-box midfielder who made 19 starts in the Bundesliga and eight starts in the Champions League for Dortmund last season.
