The Juventus midfielder has recently been linked with a summer move to Anfield, as per Gazzetta dello Sport.

In fact, it has also been mentioned that Jurgen Klopp himself is enticed by the rumoured transfer for the player whose contract expires next summer.

Another story by CMW that has been doing the rounds is that the Reds are prepared to engage in a swap deal, with Kostak Tsimikas heading to Italy.

Amongst the several theories about the reasons behind Liverpool’s downfall, one of them is a lack of reinforcements in midfield.

With the club seemingly targeting the Frenchman to bolster the position, he has discussed where his future lies.

Rabiot confirms his future is up in the air amidst Liverpool links

Speaking to Repubblica (via Fabrizio Romano), the ex-Man City youth product said, “I don’t know my future, I don’t know if I’m gonna stay at Juve.”

“It’s not time to discuss about it.”

Currently, the Liverpool-linked Rabiot is at the World Cup with France, where he made a major impression against Australia in his nation’s 4-1 victory.

The 27-year-old scored and assisted, as he starred in Les Bleus’ win.

In our view: Liverpool should steer clear from the Rabiot deal

While Adrien Rabiot is enjoying an encouraging season in Italy, consistency has never been his strongest suit.

There has never been a question over his technical ability but his mobility and limited game is the opposite of what Liverpool need from a midfielder.

Added to that, Rabiot’s much-discussed attitude problems would be the anthesis of the type of mentality Liverpool require from an addition in a crisis.
