According to Courrier Picard in France, Liverpool talent Adam Lewis has completed his medical with Amiens ahead of a loan move.
It’s claimed that Lewis arrived in France on Monday, and took his medical examination with the club in the afternoon.
Lewis is joining Amiens on loan, bolstering the club’s left back options for the season ahead having suffered relegation from Ligue 1.
L’Equipe note that there is an option to buy in the deal, but that seems unlikely given that Lewis was handed a new contract just last month.
Liverpool likely just want to get Lewis some game time, which certainly won’t come at Anfield this season following the signing of Kostas Tsimikas as Andrew Robertson’s competition.
The Reds have found a new club for Lewis in what will hopefully aid his development, but it could be bad news for Celtic.

Sky Sports reported last week that Amiens wanted to sign Celtic left back Boli Bolingoli on loan with a view to a £2.3million permanent deal.
It now seems that Lewis has been signed instead, leaving Celtic with something of a predicament given that the Belgian broke lockdown protocol earlier this month.
Celtic are understandably furious with him, but their best shot at moving him on now appears to have disappeared with Lewis completing his Amiens medical.
