Talent spotter Sven Mislintat wants a return to the Premier League and is interested in reuniting with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
Mislintat now finds himself out of work having left Stuttgart with immediate effect on Wednesday.
The German was serving as Stuttgart’s sporting director but there has now been a mutual parting of the ways.
Mislintat likely won’t be out of work for long and he is seemingly eyeing up a move back to the Premier League in 2023.

Sven Mislintat interested in Liverpool job
Reports broke on Wednesday suggesting that Mislintat is an immediate candidate for a move to Liverpool.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Mislintat could replace Julian Ward as Liverpool’s sporting director.
Ward has already told Liverpool that he is leaving at the end of the season despite only replacing Michael Edwards over the summer.
Mislintat knows Jurgen Klopp from Dortmund and is now a real contender to take a key role at Liverpool.
90Min now claim that Mistlintat is very interested in making the move to Anfield.
It’s stated that Mislintat fancies reuniting with Klopp and maybe Liverpool will value the idea of appointing somebody so close to the manager.
Mislintat is generally interested in returning to the Premier League, whether that’s with Liverpool or somebody else.
The German served as Arsenal’s head of recruitment between 2017 and 2019 before heading back home with Stuttgart.
Mislintat’s Arsenal business was a real mixed bag and there was maybe an over-reliance on signings from his Dortmund days like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
In fairness to Mislintat, he is considered to be the man who found Robert Lewandowski, Ousmane Dembele and Shinji Kagawa for Dortmund.
The 50-year-old may have learned from his mistakes and now fancies another crack at Premier League football.
Liverpool will be expecting big signings from whoever replaces Ward, and Mislintat will now hope to do enough to secure that reunion with Klopp.
