Liverpool came from behind to beat Norwich City 3-1 at Anfield, and it was January signing Luis Diaz who stole the show for the Merseyside club.

The Colombian international was once again in great form for Jurgen Klopp’s side as the 24-year-old bagged his first goal for Liverpool, with Diaz one of the best players on the pitch for the Reds.

The former FC Porto star has taken to life at Liverpool like a duck to water, and Diaz took to Twitter after the match to post an 11-word message following his first goal the club.

Indeed, the South American attacker has effortlessly fit into Liverpool’s system since arriving last month, and now Diaz is finally on the board with his first goal for his new club.

Expectations were high for Diaz after Liverpool swooped in to sign the attacker in January, however, the winger has met the hype and then some for the Premier League giants.

The Colombian is likely to play a major role for the Reds over the next few years, with Diaz already looking like a natural successor to Sadio Mane, who could leave Liverpool in the next 12 months given his contract situation.

Diaz has barely been at Liverpool for a full month, yet the forward has already established himself as a fan favourite at Anfield as well as a player who could star for the club for many years to come.

Indeed, the Reds did well to beat Tottenham to Diaz’s signature, and after leaving Anfield speechless over the weekend, Liverpool have another superstar in the making on their hands.
