Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster is battling back from injury.

Rhian Brewster had no idea what he was in for when he was stretchered off in an under-23 game in early 2018.
His ankle injury turned out to be connected to a more serious knee issue, and his rehabilitation was set back by an infection, the Liverpool Echo report.
Brewster is back training with Liverpool’s first team, and is hoping he gets to make his debut before the end of the season.
He told the Liverpool Echo: “If you’d have told me before my injury that I’d be down the road I’ve been down, then I’d have told you to get lost.
“If you’d told me I’d get through it, I’d have said ‘yeah, whatever, no way’.
“But to actually get through it and get to where I am now, I’d never have thought I could do it myself.”

He went onto thank the club’s staff, along with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has also been out injured, for inspiring him through his rehab and setting a positive example.
The 18-year-old hit headlines in late 2017 by firing England to win the under-17 World Cup, where he finished as top goalscorer.
He has already won over manager Jurgen Klopp, who has made great effort to encourage Brewster and integrate him into the first team.
Liverpool’s intense Premier League and Champions League fixture schedule means it is going to be tough for the Reds to throw Brewster in, but if they are in need of sudden inspiration, he could yet make a big difference.
