Liverpool have been in sensational form so far this season.
Speaking live on Sky Sports’ programme Nissan Super Sunday at 13:07 on December 4th, Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana explained how intense Jürgen Klopp’s midweek preparations are, sharing how the German constantly expects his players to play and train with 100 per cent intensity.
It has been suggested that both the Red’s and Chelsea have an advantage on their title rivals due to their lack of participation in European competition this season, but Lallana, who has been an integral figure for Klopp’s men this term, insisted that there has been no let up during training sessions, when speaking on Sky Sports’ Super Sunday:
Liverpool’s Adam Lallana celebrates
“We have our own Champions League, and the manager has actually quoted that. He says, ‘City are playing tonight in the Champions League against Barcelona, so we will have our own game’. So we have our own 11 v 11, and its 100 per cent. The manager doesn’t do passive or 80, 90 per cent, he does 100 per cent, and the minute you’re at 98 per cent he knows, and he will tell you.”
It has been evident from Liverpool’s performances so far this season that high intensity and commitment are central to Klopp’s plans and philosophies as a manger.

And Lallana has exemplified that, with a succession of hard-working displays that has seen him become such an important player for the Merseyside outfit.
There is still a long way to go before the Premier League title race is decided, but if Klopp’s men can sustain their fitness levels and quality for the next few months, there is not telling how far this Liverpool side can go.
